Rooms Guide

Newton Price Centre Theatre Studio

We have invested over £10,000 in converting this room into a theatre studio, through laying specialist "Harlequin" flooring throughout the room and by installing special curtain rails and black serge curtaining, which creates the effect of actually being on stage in a large theatre.

The room is available for theatre studies and other groups to hire.   We have had Yugioh contests held in the room and bands have used the studio to record music. Puppet shows for children's parties have been staged in the room and we have had Salsa Dance groups practice here on Saturday afternoons.

Michael Davies holds Tai Chi training session in the studio on Saturday mornings.

Movement Academy will start holding tap-dancing classes in the studio from Tuesday, 4th March 2008.

Esprit Yoga have used the studio for yoga sessions and Guideposts Trust hold Relaxation sessions here too. Ballet lessons and examinations are held in the room. “Picking Up Sticks” drumming lessons are held in the studio by Lawrence Farrelly.  Watford Camera Club use the studio for photographic sessions. A highly multi-purpose and multi-functional room.
